Ms. Randi Emmott, President
Randi Emmott, a FIABCI member since 1994, has been in the real estate field for 25 years after spending 10 years as a nurse in the emergency department of a busy hospital in Toronto. She lives and works in her main service area, the north west area of Toronto which is an easy commute to downtown. Randi specializes in personal and corporate relocations and is a member of the Canadian Employee Relocation Council. Ms. Jacqueline Sommereyns, Past President
Belgian-born and multi-lingual, she is a Commercial Realtor with Groupe Sutton Immobilia in Outremont, Montreal. Her business background in senior management, sales and marketing spans some 40 years and includes 14 years in real estate. In the early 90's she also held a real estate and mortgage broker licence in Florida. Her field of activity has covered finding sites and commercial space for a client base that included Marriot Hotels, St. Hubert BBQ and Home Depot. She currently works with international investors, developers and property owners in both sales and leasing.
Ms.Sommereyns has served as a Director of the Canadian Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation for the past four years. In addition she is a Commercial Realtor member of the Great Montreal Real Estate Board and the Quebec Real Estate Association.

Mr. Carlos Sousa, President-Elect, B.A.
Carlos Sousa, B.A. Sociology (Honours) has been a Realtor with Sutton Group-Associates Realty in Toronto for the past 10 years. Previously he completed a Commercial Apprenticeship in Berlin with Siemens Gesellschaft. A Chapter Director since 2005 he has attended three World Congress events: Athens (2005), Bangkok (2006) and Barcelona (2007). He also represented the Chapter as a member of the Legislation and Environment Committee at the FIABCI Business Meetings in Brussels (2005) and West Palm Beach (2006). He recently received his Transnational Referral Certification from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Carlos who speaks Portuguese, English and French has been an active and dedicated volunteer in numerous community multi-cultural projects and is a recipient of the Ontario Lieutenant Governor General's Volunteer Award. Ms. Margaret Liu, Past President Advisor
Margaret Liu, B.A., CRES, P.Mgr. a Realtor with Sincere Realty Inc. in Scarborough. In 1986 Ms. Liu joined Sincere Realty where she sprecializes in Commercial Investment Properties. Prior to entering the real estate profession she was the Personnel Manager for the Hong Kong Mass Transit System. As a member of FIABCI for the past fifteen years she has attended 13 World Congress amd 7 Asia-Pacific Congress events developing a large network of international contacts. She speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Hong Kong. Ms. Liu is a certified Real Estate Specialist of the Real Estate Institute of Canada and also an Accredited Professional Manager of the Canadian Institute of Management. Ms. Liu is also a member of the Toronto Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women.



Ms. Betty Fitzpatrick, FRI, CRA,CRB, Director
Betty Fitzpatrick, of Fredericton, New Brunswick is a highly respected and prominent figure in the Atlantic provinces real estate community. A long time participant in FIABCI at the national and international level she has served as Director and President both of the New Brunswick Real Estate Association and the Fredericton Real Estate Board. In addition she chaired the New Brunswick Real Estate Council and is a past director of the Canadian Real Estate Association. An Associate Broker with Royal LePage Gardiner Realty in Fredericton, her real estate career spans some thirty years. An avid salmon conservationist she is a licensed fishing and hunting guide, considered a useful asset when marketing sporting and recreational properties.


Mr. Dean Lapointe, Director
Dean Lapointe has a broad range of experience during his 30 years in the real estate industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. He began his carrer as a realtor for a National Company following which he worked as a market research analyst in the US. He then became the manager for a new division of investment, commercial and industrial properties for National Trust Realty. During the 15 years that he ran Lapointe and Associates Realty he became an Appraiser. Following a stint as Leasing Director for the Vancouver World Trade Centre, he became the senior Vice President and Nominee of a small I.C and I company - within 4 years this company was the 2nd largest in B.C. Dean is currently at Trillium Real Estate Corp. in Vancouver, BC.


Mr. J. M. Edwards, B.A., CRB, CMR
Jamie M. Edwards is a licensed real estate broker who founded J.M. Edwards Associates Inc. in Burlington, Ontario in 1979. Resulting from a strong belief in community and organized real estate, Mr. Edwards is Past President of the Hamilton, Burlington and District Real Estate Board, Burlington Chamber of Commerce, Burlington Visitor and Convention Bureau, Burlington Economic Development Corporation, Business Executive Network and the Ontario Real Estate Association. He retains a membership with the Rotary Club of Burlington Central and an honourary life memberships with both his local board and the Ontario Real Estate Association. His provincial, national and international involvement in organized real estate has contributed greatly to the overall success of many companies and organizations. Mr. Jerry England, CTS, ABRM, Secretary-General - Canadian Chapter.
A past President of the Canadian Chapter, Mr. England is a Broker/Manager with RE/MAX Aboutowne Realty Corp. in Oakville, Ontario. He is currently a Director of the Mississauga Real Estate Board, a past Director of the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), Past President of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) and has served as a Director for both Ontario (OREA) and Canadian (CREA) Real Estate Associations. Prior to his real estate career, Jerry had an extensive business career in the United Kingdom and Spain which included owning a building company and holding management positions in the tourism and natural gas industry. Jerry first joined FIABCI-CANADA in 1985 and was a member for several years then after a hiatus re-joined in January 1997. Mr. Gino Matrundola
Licensed since 1964. Broker since 1970. Founder and President of Titanus Inc., Realtor since 1974. Very active in land sales, land development, investments, commercial, industrial, residential and farms. 1987-1990 Deputé/Member Provincial Parliament (Ontario). 1976 President York Region Real Estate Board. Past Director and Vice President of Ontario Real Estate Association. Gino in FIABCI: Member since 1973. Has served most of the committees, also: Past Secretary-General - Development Promotion/Town Planning; Past President Industrial and Commercial Division; President Residential Committee (2nd two-year terms). Politically active at all levels of Government - Municipal, Provincial and Federal.

Ms. Ursula Morel, CIPS, CLHMS, RSPS, TRC
Fluent in English, French and German she specializes in Luxury Resort and Second Home Property Marketing not only in Whistler but both nationally and globally. She has been recognized as an exceptional agent in The Wall Street Weekend Journal and Barron's Financial Week. Ursula is an associate with RE/MAX Sea to Sky Real Estate in Whistler, BC, Canada the Home of the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics.
Ursula has been a RE/MAX associate for the past 10 years and in the Hospitality Industry for several years previously Ursula has been welcoming people to Whistler from all over the world. Her strengths in negotiating with international investors have made it easy not only to succeed locally but also to expand her activities as a Certified International Property Specialist and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist as well as TransNational Referral Specialist. Ms. Florence T. Bernard, FRI, CMR, RRS, CRES
Florence's bilingual real estate career, which spans more than 30 years, has given her the experience needed in today's real estate profession especially in the Quebec marketplace. After starting her sales career in 1971, she went on to manage a large brokerage for 9 years. In that capacity, she trained and developed some of the Montreal West Island's best agents, as well as representing the Province of Quebec on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) for 3 years, gaining invaluable knowledge of Canadian real estate. In 1992 she returned to Sales to work with RE/MAX Royal Jordan.
Florence's has particular expertise in the West Island area especially with corporate relocation as a member of the Canadian (CERC) and US (ERC) Employer Relocation Councils. She holds numerous awards and has been #1 agent with RE/MAX Jordan for seven consecutive years. Ann Bosley, Principal Member Representative
Ann is Vice-President of Bosley Real Estate in Toronto, a family-owned firm founded in 1928. She has more than 20 years experience in the real estate industry, joining the Canadian Real Estate Association`s Board of Directors as Director-at-Large in 2004. She has served as a member of the CREA Competition Research and Strategy Task Force, was a member of the CREA 2004-2005 Agency Review Task Force and served as Chair of CREA's FINTRAC Compliance Task Force. She was also the Toronto Real Estate Board President in 2002, and served on its Board of Directors for several years.
